The company has released a new iOS update via its TestFlight Beta Program that brings the version up to 25.7.10.70. In this latest update, WhatsApp is now rolling a new feature that will allow users to add their social media profile links to their user accounts. The feature is right now available to some beta testers.
The feature is already available for Android users. In simple terms, this feature lets users add a direct link to their Instagram profile in their WhatsApp account, making it simpler for others to find and connect with them from the chat info page. The company is now rolling out this feature for iOS users and. Once the feature is live, users will have to select the option to add their social media profile and enter their Instagram username. As soon as they will save their username, it will start appearing in the chat info screen. The username will only appear to people based on your privacy settings.
